Announcements
Dear Bloomington 1st Ward members,
We hope this message finds you well and filled with the spirit of giving! Last year the Bloomington 1st Ward community raised enough funds to purchase brand new flags and support many of the Youth activities in 2024. Thank you for your generous donations. Your donations made it possible to line our community streets with US flags 5x last yr.
For 2025 we are excited to announce our annual Young Women and Young Men Flag Fundraiser that not only supports our youth but also honors the beautiful symbol of our nation – the American flag. In addition to the core 5 US holidays in 2025 we have added President's Day 2026.
Your generous support will make a significant impact, and together, we can achieve our goals to support the youth while celebrating our love for God and country.
Thank you for being such an integral part of our Bloomington 1st Ward Youth program.
Sincerely,
Jay Winward

Urgent Need – St George Transitional Services – One Couple English \ Spanish Speaking
The St. George and Cedar City Transitional Services Operation offers temporary assistance to transient and homeless families in the St. George and Cedar City area. In the Lord's plan we are charged to aid the poor and needy. Priesthood leaders and members may refer transient and homeless individuals (including refugees and those exiting correctional facilities) to our office for possible help with food, clothing, transportation, temporary lodging and other necessities. We also provide work and service opportunities to build character and foster self-reliance. We maintain an ongoing data base and whenever possible, verify the information provided before help is given. We provide information about community agencies and refer individuals to them as appropriate.
Senior Service Missionaries in this position learn specific tasks associated with an operational program or project of the Church and completes them in a successful and timely manner. In many cases, these tasks are somewhat unique to an operations program or project and may require a certain level of education or experience. Usually, this opportunity will come through the agent stake president over the area.
